Combine Members

Use the Combine tool to merge continuous members.

This operation does not perform any equivalence. It may be required to do so before combining.
  1. From the Skeleton ribbon, click the Combine tool.

    Note: The Equivalence tool is grouped with the Equivalence/Duplicates tools. Click the arrow next to the tool to choose which is active on the ribbon.
  2. Click on the guide bar to define options the break angle.
    This is the max angular deviation that is considered a straight member.
  3. Select members to consider.
  4. Click Find to locate continuous members within the given break angle.
  5. Optional: Click or to review each instance.
  6. Click Merge All.
