Troubleshooting Driver Modeling
Below are some recommendations for using Altair Driver:
    - Symptom
 - The driver simulation fails immediately.
 - Remedy
 - Verify that the vehicle position is consistent with the specified path. The path points need to be close to the vehicle at design position.
 - Symptom
 - The driver seems to turn the steering wheel angle counter-intuitively and it does not follow the prescribed path. The simulation fails.
 - Remedy
 - This is probably caused by positive feedback. This can be fixed by reversing the sign of the steering wheel angle signal or the steering rack ratio.
 - Symptom
 - The driver follows the path, but it is too sluggish. The simulation fails.
 - Remedy
 - This could be caused by a preview time that is too long for the maneuver and the vehicle speed, especially if the steering signal seems to start responding too soon.
 - Symptom
 - The driver follows the path, but its actions are too sudden and the steering wheel angle signal is too jumpy.
 - Remedy
 - This could be caused by a preview time too short for the maneuver and the vehicle speed, especially if the steering signal seems to start responding too late.
