Waveguide Port

Specify the excitation planes in waveguide structures.

Currently, only flat rectangular faces are supported for waveguide ports.

In the Project Tree, open the Electromagnetic Analysis Workbench.
On the workbench toolbar, click the (Waveguide port) icon.
In the modeling window, select a face from the model.

Note: Only selection of one face is allowed per waveguide port. If multiple faces are selected, SimSolid issues a warning message.
For the input type, you can select Power/magnitude for the source.
Under waveguide source, currently fundamental modes and specific modes are supported.

Note: For specific modes, TE/TM modes are supported. Upon selecting specific modes, you need to enter the values for m and n.
Enter the value for power/magnitude.
Click Apply.
