- Available Boundary Conditions for Analyses

- Immovable Constraints
  Enforce zero translational displacements in all directions on faces, edges, vertexes, and/or spots.
- Slider Constraints

Distributed Mass

Apply distributed mass across selected faces.

Distributed mass can be applied using total mass or mass per area.

In the Project Tree, open the Analysis Workbench.
On the Analysis Workbench toolbar, click the Distributed mass.
Specify which type of entity will have mass applied:
- If applying spots, you can create new spots by clicking Create new spot or select existing spots.
- For faces, in the modeling window, select the desired face(s) on the model.
  - Optional: Select the Add Tangent Faces check box.
In the drop down menu, specify Mass and Mass per area units.
Specify a value for Total mass or Mass per area.

Note: Only Total mass is supported for Distributed mass on spots.
For the entity type set to face, review the applied distributed mass details listed at the bottom of the dialog box.
Click OK.
