Replace CAD Body

Geometry > Body > Replace CAD Body

Introduction

This option enables the user to replace an existing body with new body having changes in design. It issupported only for Parasolid models imported withSave geometry in database option enabled.

The old body will be removed from the model, and its name will be assigned to the newly replaced body. If the old body is linked to any mesh, it will be unlinked.

The following information will be transferred to the new body,

1. Groups
2. Mesh controls
3. Drop test parameters
   1. Mesh Type
   2. Mesh Size
   3. Min Edge Length
   4. Material
   5. Quality Spec
   6. Abaqus Section Control Name
