The Move face option is used to move a set of faces or nodes along a defined direction or along normal to element. The main difference between FEM | Node | Move - Normal option and Move Face option is that the mesh along the adjacent faces will be maintained.

The adjacent faces along which the existing mesh is to be graded is controlled using the Grade factor. If this toggle is OFF, it internally computes the best grade factor and use it to grade the mesh in the adjacent faces. However, the user can specify the desired grade factor by turning ON the Toggle.
