Dialog Box

This tool is used to create a face which is tangential to the given edges.

• Edge

  Edges to be selected for creating face.

• Faces that define direction

  If the given edges are connected to more than one face, user needs to select a reference face.

• Distance

  Distance by which the edge has to be extended.

• Local remesh

  By turning ON "Local remesh" toggle, user can specify the mesh size for the newly created faces.

Example 1

In this example a face is selected which is having floating edge present in it. There is a small gap between the end of the floating vertex and the boundary. Enter the tolerance as 3. The floating edge end points are extended at both ends and the face is split.
