Extend and Cut
Dialog Box
If floating/internal edges are present on the selected bodies/faces/floating edges and if the vertices of the edges are within the tolerance to the outer edge, this operation will automatically extend the edges to the boundary. This can split the face into two. The distance between the end node of the floating/internal edges and the intersection point (where the end vertex intersects the face boundary) should be less than or equal to the given tolerance.
Example 1
In this example a face is selected which is having floating edge present in it. There is a small gap between the end of the floating vertex and the boundary. Enter the tolerance as 3. The floating edge end points are extended at both ends and the face is split.

Example 2
In this example floating edges are selected and enter the tolerance value as 0. The floating edges are extended till the boundary of the face.
