This tool is used to define clearance or interference behaviour for contact analysis.
Description
The following press-fit types can be defined
- Clearance
- The clearance type is used to specify the initial clearance between the contact pairs. Also node id Vs clearance table can be defined to specify clearance value for individual nodes.
- Interference
- The Interference type is used to specify the allowable interference between the contact pairs.
- Auto shrink fit option is used to automatically shrink fit the contact elements.
- The MPC option is used to automatically define three pairs of multi-point constraints for cylindrical contacts pairs.
- Both
- The both type is used to specify the Clearance and interference with shrink parameter in contact definition.
