Cooling Channel
Cooling channel models and simulates thermal interaction between the cooling fluid and the wetted surfaces considering the fluid flow effects.
Wetted surfaces: The surfaces with which the cooling fluid interacts.
Auto select: From a single wetted surface this option will automatically collect all the corresponding wetted surfaces.
Edge at the inlet: Edge of the cross-section at the inlet of the cooling fluid.
Fluid body:If automatic fluid body creation fails, the user can manually create a 1D fluid body and assign it here.
Cooling channel parameters:
- Fluid material: Material of the cooling fluid.
- Hydraulic diameter: This is to find the Equivalent cross-sectional area of the cooling channel.
- Mass flow rate
- Convection Coefficient: Convective heat transfer coefficient between the wetted surface and the cooling fluid.
- Temperature: Temperature of the cooling fluid.
