Coarsen a 1D Mesh

Coarsen 1D elements and components to the given element size.

  1. From the Topology ribbon, click the Coarsen > 1D tool.

  2. Select Elements or Components from the Target selector on the guide bar.
  3. Select elements or components.
  4. Optional: Click Anchors on the guide bar and select anchor nodes.
  5. Optional: On the guide bar, click to define coarsen options.
  6. Click Coarsen on the guide bar.
    The mesh is coarsened.
