Responses

The Responses step of the wizard allows you to add Response Variables (RVs) to an optimization study.

At-least one active DV belonging to an active entity must be present in the study in order to be able to access the ‘Responses’ step.

Response Variables are metrics that characterize system behavior. Each RV is a number that is computed from the system states and the design variables. You create responses by selecting them from a built-in library of response types.

Once added, RVs can be quickly modified or even removed.

Below is an image showing the ‘Responses’ step with a list of responses available in the study and the details of a selected response.
