EDEM Creator is the pre-processor for creating an EDEM simulation model, including setting up equipment and defining the generation of bulk materials.
Creator Tree-Environment
Creator Tree-Environment allows you to define global settings for the simulation in the Environment section.
Define Dynamic Domain Conditions
You can define a geometric object as a Dynamic Domain to make all the material inside the object active and exclude any stationary material outside the object from calculations, which speeds up simulation.
Freezing Conditions
A particle excluded from any calculation is called a frozen particle. If a frozen particle re-enters the dynamic domain then it is automatically re included in the calculations.

EDEM Creator
EDEM Creator is the pre-processor for creating an EDEM simulation model, including setting up equipment and defining the generation of bulk materials.
- Creator Tree-Project
  Creator Tree-Project allows you to define the title and description for the simulation.
- Creator Tree-Bulk Material
  Creator Tree-Bulk Material allows you to add bulk material and bulk material particle shapes to a model and define their interactions.
- Creator Tree-Equipment Material
  Creator Tree-Equipment Material allows you to add equipment material to a model and define interactions between materials.
- Creator Tree-Geometries
  Creator Tree-Geometries allows you to use Geometry sections to construct the environment in which your bulk material interacts.

  Creator Tree-Environment allows you to define global settings for the simulation in the Environment section.
  - Define the Domain and Geometry
    EDEM allows you to run simulations in the model domain area. You define the domain and Geometry in the Environment section of the Creator Tree and is indicated by the red box in the Viewer.
  - Define Dynamic Domain Conditions
    You can define a geometric object as a Dynamic Domain to make all the material inside the object active and exclude any stationary material outside the object from calculations, which speeds up simulation.
    - Freezing Conditions

  - Define Cylindrical Periodic Boundaries
    You can define Cylindrical Periodic Boundaries within the domain using the axis from a rotational kinematic or a vector based on a starting or end point.

    You can define Linear Periodic Boundaries to control what happens to a particle once it leaves the domain.
