    Create an entity to which loads, constraints, or other boundary conditions may be later applied.

Import Spot from CSV

Create circular spot entities of a specified diameter at XYZ locations specified in and external comma separated values (CSV) file.

The format of the CSV file is a header row followed by one or more data rows containing X, Y, and Z locations for each spot. Below is an example of the format:

In the Project Tree, open the Assembly workbench.
In the Assembly workbench toolbar, click ➔ Create spot.
In the dialog, click on the Import tab.
Specify the spot circulate diameter.
Click the Import button and browse for the desired file.
Select the file and click Open.
Circular spots of a given diameter will be located on the closest surface to each XYZ value set.
Click OK.
The spot appears in the Assembly > Part branch in the Project Tree.
