- Materials
- Rigid Parts
  A rigid part can displace under the loading, but only as a rigid body, i.e. without deformation or strain.
- Spots
  A Spots is a feature that enable applying loads, constraints, or other boundary conditions (BC) to local regions on the surface, instead of applying BC to the whole faces of the model

Replace Part

Replace a part in an existing assembly with an alternative design.

Currently, only single-part replacement is supported. All existing properties such as material, connections, contacts, loads and constraints are automatically mapped to the new part.

Right-click on the part from the Project Tree or modeling window that will be replaced.
From the context menu, select Replace part.
Select the part file in the File Explorer and click Open.
After opening the new part, a new design study is created with the replaced part.
Note: Currently for seam and laser welds, retaining of welds is only possible if the welds are created from solids.
