Coupled Solution
which needs different solvers to run together and exchange data between them to compute results.
SimLab provides efficient method to run multiphysics co-simulation.
SimLab supports defining and computation of a wide range of physics. If the analyses are setup in SimLab,
define a coupled solution and start the coupled solving directly within SimLab interface.
In case if the physics is not supported in SimLab, user can setup the model externally and couple with the physics / analysis setup in SimLab.
Description
- Select the required solutions to be coupled.
- Define the interface conditions, data exchange method and convergence criteria.
- The final time for each solution should be same to run coupled analysis.
- On Update of the Coupled solution SimLab will start the respective solutions together and the results will be computed.
- In case of EDEM (External) start the coupling server option in EDEM and then Update the coupled solution in SimLab.
