This tool is used to connect the pipe and sensor bodies. After the connection
is made, the internal faces are thrown and poor quality elements at the connections are
cleaned up automatically.
Note: The axial flow lines in the pipe must be topological edges in order to collapse the
non-vertex nodes along connections.
