Identify Bodies To Hex Mesh

Description

This tool identifies the hex meshable bodies based on body types. Users can specify the type of hex mesh bodies for identification.

Body Types

  1. Axis symmetric

    Partial or 360 degrees revolved axis-symmetric and cyclic symmetry bodies are identified using this option.

  2. Screw

    Screws and bolts with slotted head/ threads are identified using this option.

  3. Pipe

    Pipes, tubes and wires that have solid/ hollow cross section are identified using this option.

  4. 2.5D

    Bodies that have a smooth top and bottom faces that are separated by end faces are classified as 2.5D.

  5. Sweep

    Bodies that are swept from one end to the other with varying cross section along thickness are identified as Swept bodies.

  6. Extrude in one direction

    This option is used to identify bodies with all the components extruded along the same direction.

  7. Extrude in multiple directions

    This option is used to identify bodies with the components extruded in multiple directions with steps and bends.
