Auto Sweep

This tool is used to generate Hex mesh for Swept bodies automatically. User can select either CAD/ FEM bodies and specify the average and minimum element size for meshing.

Select Top/ Bottom Faces

This option is used to identify the top/ bottom faces for the input bodies. Turning ON Auto option will identify the faces automatically as we select the bodies. User can also pick the top/ bottom faces manually.

Allow quad mesh transition

This option generates quad mesh with transition. For more details please refer Allow Quad Mesh Transition.

Auto sweep output option for different inputs
  • FE Body: The output mesh will be created in a new model.
  • CAD Body: The below dialog will prompt the user to select the output location if an equivalent mesh is already present. For more details, please refer Mesh output options for CAD body.
