FE Geometry
FE geometry is topology on top of mesh, meaning CAD and mesh exist as a single entity. The purpose of FE geometry is to add vertices, edges, surfaces, and solids on FE models which have no CAD geometry.

      - Extract Midsurfaces
        Use the Midsurfaces: Automatic tool to extract the midsurface of sheet metal stampings, molded plastic parts with ribs, and other parts that have thickness clearly smaller than width and length.
      - Edit Midsurface Plates

      - Imprint Lines or Surfaces on Midsurfaces
        Use the Midsurfaces: Pocket Imprint tool to imprint pockets, fillets, and other geometry features from the source geometry onto the midsurfaces.
    - Apply Thickness to Midsurface
      Use the Map Thickness tool to apply thickness values to shell elements on midsurfaced geometry.
    - Rebuild Mesh
      The Rebuild tool streamlines the process of remeshing existing meshes to generate a new mesh with good quality and flow. The rebuild mesh functionality utilizes the same parameter and criteria files used by BatchMesher to define the quality criteria and relevant mesh parameters. This algorithm saves significant time over the traditional automesh and quality correction approach.
    - Adaptive Wrap Meshing
      Adaptive wrap meshing is a useful utility to get a clean, water tight shell mesh out of 2D mesh containing several intersecting parts and small gaps which do not need to be modeled.
    - EM Lattice Meshing
      EM Lattice meshing is a method to create an axis-parallel mesh for 2D and 1D geometry input.
