Definition
A sensor is defined by:
- a name
- a type
- a support
- a formula
Name
The name permitting the identification of the sensor is given by the user during its creation.
An (optional) comment can be added to the name.
Types of sensor
The types of proposed sensor and the necessary characteristics for their description are presented in the table below.

Note: The only difference is:
the sensor of the Point type permits the carrying out of the calculation on one point, contrary to the Quantities computation on points which permits to carry out the calculation on an infinity of points.
