Flux Skew
Flux Skew is a module dedicated to the analysis of rotating electric machines with skewing, allowing a straightforward geometric and physical description in 2D and the consideration of continuous or step skewing effects.
Material Identification
The Material Identification tool is based on the Altair Compose environment and allows determining from measurements the parameters and coefficients required to create a material in Flux.
Altair Material Datacenter (AMDC)

Geometry: Sketcher (2D)

Introduction

This chapter deals with the description of the geometry using a new tool integrated with Flux, called Sketcher.

The sketcher is a tool for "drawing" geometry and allowing the easy description of CAD geometry on plane (2D). The integration of a sketcher into Flux allows easier and more efficient description, similar to existing CAD tools. To satisfy this demand, the sketcher includes several tools and features. The information describing the Sketcher in Flux and the operation of its features are presented in this chapter.
