Time Step Settings
Description
Time step settings used to control the sequence of time in time-dependent (transient) simulations. Choosing appropriate time step parameters is essential for ensuring simulation accuracy, stability, and computational efficiency.
Calculated Rayleigh Time Step: This step size is auto calculated by the material properties and smallest particle size involved in the simulation.
Time Step for Flow: Flow timestep must be an exact multiple of the EDEM timestep.
Rayleigh Time Step in Percentage: Time Step is selected as a percentage of the Rayleigh Time Step value. The normal range is 10%-40% of the Rayleigh Time Step.
Fixed Time Step: Specify the constant time step for throughout the simulation.
Refer EDEM Time Step.
