Connect PCBA
Description
This tool helps connect all the different parts of a circuit board, including the parts on the top and bottom. The parts on top connect to the top layer of the board, and the ones on the bottom connect to the bottom layer. This creates shared connections on the board's surface.
PCB
Select all the PCB layer bodies.
Top components
Select all the top components.
Bottom components
Select all the bottom components.
Tolerance
Specify the tolerance value to connect.
Refine tessellation
This option helps in refining the tessellation wherever possible. Wherever there are long, straight edges, the tessellation will be refined based on the input size. This improves the success rate during subsequent surface meshing.
Separate bodies after connection
By default, this tool generates shared faces across all layers/components in the output. However, users may sometimes prefer to separate these shared faces. This toggle allows for separating the shared faces in the output.
