Motor/Actuator Is Ignored During Statics Analysis

Condition

The motor/actuator will not behave as expected, because the velocity and acceleration are set to zero for a statics analysis.

This error message has several versions:

Speed Motor Is Ignored During Statics Analysis
Velocity Actuator Is Ignored During Statics Analysis
Acceleration Motor Is Ignored During Statics Analysis
Acceleration Actuator Is Ignored During Statics Analysis

Remedy

Change the motor type to Angle, or the actuator type to Displacement.
Run a transient instead of statics analysis by changing the Run Motion Analysis settings.
If using a speed motor or velocity actuator, disable the controller to lock the motor during a statics analysis.
