LS-DYNA Interface

New Features

Support for LS-DYNA F14.1 and R15.0 Profiles: Support for LS-DYNA F14.1 and R15.0 profiles has been added.
New Mass Balance Workflow: The Mass Balance tool can be used to automatically distribute masses on nodes or properties, to match user-defined target mass and CoG of selected properties.; Figure 1.

Enhancements

Find Attached Tool

*CONSTRAINED_EXTRA_NODES_{OPTION} and *CONSTRAINED_RIGID_BODIES are considered in find attached tool via check boxes in the tool options.

Model Checker

A new “*CONSTRAINED_INTERPOLATION with weight factors equal to 0.0” warning has been added.

Keywords Support

Support of *CONTROL_FORMING_ONESTEP_{OPTION} has been added.

Support of new material *MAT_DMN_COMPOSITE_FRC has been added.

Support of *LOAD_NODE_SET_ONCE has been added.

*MAT_PIECEWISE_LINEAR_PLASTICITY:

All the material options (2D, LOG_INTERPOLATION, STOCHASTIC, MIDFAIL, TITLE) are activated by a check box to allow any combinations of those options in the material keyword.

Support of attribute DSID in *ELEMENT_SEATBELT_RETRACTOR from R12 profile has been added.

Support of attribute THERML in *MAT_HYPERELASTIC_RUBBER from R8 profile has been added.

Resolved Issues

Performing nodes equivalencing workflow will now maintain ELEMENT_MASS defined on equivalenced nodes.
Default weighting factors in *CONSTRAINED_INTERPOLATION are now defined equal to TWGHTX value and not more equal to 0.0.
The review of *CONTACT_AUTOMATIC_SINGLE_SURFACE with SSID=0 has been fixed.
*CONTACT_AUTOMATIC_SINGLE_SURFACE with SSID=0 is no longer found as empty in check tools.
*SET with option COLLECT is now correctly combined when include files are imported successively in HyperMesh.
The option OFFSET in *ELEMENT_BEAM is now accessible from the element Entity Editor.
The model import issue when encryption block is defined after *MAT_SEATBELT has been fixed.
The import of *SECTION_SOLID_EFG when attributes IEBT=0 or IDIM=0 or IBR=0 has been fixed.
NUM attribute in *MAT_154 is now supported as an integer.
