Design Explorer
New Features
- It is now possible to add Check Runs on DOEs or Optimizations. A Check Run is either a single nominal run or a bounds check, consisting of three runs where all design variables are set to their minimum, nominal, and maximum values.
- The Results Explorer Trade Off tab, including scalar, field, and curve predictions, is now available for Optimization explorations. Previously, the predictive features were only available for DOEs.
- Curve ID assignments can be used as design variables. Additional (XML-configurable) selection types are exposed to the Properties Design Variable tool, allowing the attribute-curve ID assignment to be parametrized.
- Goals (objectives and constraints) can now be created during response creation. Previously, goal creation required a separate step.
Enhancements
- Generative Design explorations can now be run using full factorial DOEs which will generate concepts for every permutation of design variables.
- Generative Design summary table now shows the topology Optimization discreteness index value for each run.
- ExpertAI default number of clusters logic has been updated to avoid defaulting to a large number of clusters when silhouette score is high.
- ExpertAI dendrogram updates are now shown interactively as the number of clusters is changed. Previously, the dendrogram image was static, and it needed to be reopened when the number of clusters was changed.
Resolved Issues
- Field Prediction and ExpertAI now consider all runs for extended explorations.
- Multi-select is now supported in Parameter DV creation.
