Edit an entity

To edit / modify an entity:

Step Action
1 Activate the Edit command (see next block)
→ An Edit … dialog box is open.

Modify (verify) characteristics of entity:

  • choose the tab of interest
  • enter new information in the corresponding field

Close the dialog box:

  • with validation of information, click on OK

  • without validation of information, click on Cancel

Activate the command

To activate the Edit command, which requires data selection, choose one of the methods presented in the figure below:

To open the Edit … dialog box directly:

  • in the data tree or in the graphic zone (for graphic entity) double-click on the entity.
Note:
  • To open a contextual menu, use the right button of the mouse.
  • For multiple selections, keep the Ctrl key pressed.
