Create an entity

To create a new entity:

Step Action
1 Activate the command of creation New (see next block)
→ A dialog box New … is open.

Define the entity:

  • enter required characteristics in tabs
  • click on OK
→ A new entity is added in the Flux project.
→ A dialog box New … is open.

Go on creation:

  • go to step 2

Quit the sequence of creation:

  • click on Cancel

Activate the command

To activate the command of creation New, choose one of the methods presented in the figure below:

To open the New … dialog box directly:

  • in the data tree double-click on the entity-type.
Note: To open a contextual menu, use the right button of the mouse.
