Copy Text from Remote Desktops

Copy text information from remote desktops to local machine.

You cannot directly paste the contents from remote desktop to the local machine. The following steps will be performed to paste the contents from remote desktops:
  • Copy the text information from remote desktops
  • Place the text information to the clipboard modal of the remote desktops
  • Click local button in clipboard modal to copy the text information
  • Paste the text information in the local machine
  1. Copy the text information from the Remote Desktops.
    For example, copy the information from the Gedit remote desktops

  2. Click in the remote desktops.
  3. Click in the control options.
    The information will be placed in the remote desktops clipboard modal.

  4. Click Copy to My Computer to copy the information from the clipboard modal.

  5. Paste the contents to the local machine.
