- Materials
- Rigid Parts
  A rigid part is defined as a component that can undergo displacement and rotation under applied loads, but without any internal deformation or strain. Rigid parts behave as a perfectly stiff body where all points maintain their relative positions.
- Spots
  A Spots is a feature that enable applying loads, constraints, or other boundary conditions (BC) to local regions on the surface, instead of applying BC to the whole faces of the model
- Create Coordinate System
  Define a local coordinate system to which boundary conditions may be later applied.
- Import Coordinate System
  Import coordinate system from an external comma separated values (CSV) file. Multiple coordinates can be imported at once.
- Create Line on Part
  Create a line that can later be used to generate seam welds.

  This function allows you to define a liquid body within your SimSolid model, representing the effects of an enclosed, inviscid, and incompressible fluid on your structure. It accounts for both the distributed mass and the stiffness contributions arising from the fluid's incompressibility.

  Allows you to define and simulate a gas body at a certain pressure within a confined space, particularly for applications like Insulated Glass Units (IGUs)

Review Parts

Rank/find parts, including seam welds, based on volume or relative volume, and suppress or delete parts.

In the Project Tree, open the Assembly workbench.
In the Assembly workbench toolbar, select Review parts.
The Review parts dialog opens and lists parts in the model, sorted by their volume from smallest to largest.
Click to select parts from the list.

Note: To select multiple parts, hold down Control.
Optional: Click Save to CSV to export the entire list of parts to a .csv file.
Optional: Click Zoom to magnify selected parts.
Optional: Select the Group instances of same part check box to group the instances.
Click Suppress selected parts or Delete selected parts to suppress or delete selected parts.
Click Close.
