This is used to extract the planar and cylindrical faces using the circles present in the selected bodies.

  • Example

By angle

This is used to break faces in the selected bodies or faces using the specified feature angle. Elements will be grouped based on that angle and a face for the grouped elements will be created.

  • Create floating edges for open loop

    Split face By angle option create edges based on the angle between adjacent elements. The created edge can form a closed loop or open loop for the specified angle. By default, only closed loop edges will be retained. By turning on this toggle, floating edges can also be retained.
