Imprint Circle

This option is used to imprint a circle on a planar face. The radius and the center of the circle and the number of nodes on the circle should be specified. The circle center can be specified either by selecting a node or a vertex or an arc/circular edge.This option can be used to break a face in surface mesh body or in Parasolid body.
Surface mesh body
In this case, only one circle can be imprinted at a time.
Parasolid body
In this case many circles can be defined for a single face and all of the circles can be created in single operation. When imprinting on a Parasolid face, the number of nodes is not used.
Multiple circles for imprint can be defined using the “Next” button. After defining each circle, select “Next” to define the next circle.
It is to be noted that, this option is not supported for other CAD bodies (ProE and CATIA). If a circle has to be imprinted on a ProE or CATIA models, then it has to be meshed first to create a surface mesh body, which can then be imprinted by a circle.
