Under failure process.
= 1
Active element.

Example

# Spring element timestep
/H3D/SPRING/DT
# Force and moment output for only parts IDs 356 and 293.
/H3D/SPRING/FORC
356 293

Comments

  1. The syntax /H3D/ELEM/Keyword3 is also valid.
  2. When PART IDs are listed after the /H3D/SPRING line the specified results will only be output for those parts.
  3. Damage in springs is defined as the maximum value between time 0 and the current time of the displacement versus failure displacement ratio:
    D A M = max t ( δ ( t ) δ max )

    For TYPE13 (/PROP/SPR_BEAM) springs, damage direction 1 is traction/compression, 2 and 3 are shear y and z.

    For TYPE8 (/PROP/SPR_GENE) springs, damage directions 1, 2 and 3 are, respectively x, y and z.
