Flux Skew
Flux Skew is a module dedicated to the analysis of rotating electric machines with skewing, allowing a straightforward geometric and physical description in 2D and the consideration of continuous or step skewing effects.
Material Identification
The Material Identification tool is based on the Altair Compose environment and allows determining from measurements the parameters and coefficients required to create a material in Flux.
Altair Material Datacenter (AMDC)

Mesh importation (NASTRAN, PATRAN, UNV Ideas formats)

Introduction

This section presents mesh data importation in standard formats:

NASTRAN neutral
PATRAN neutral
UNV (UNiVersel Ideas Master Serie)
MED (Data Exchange Model)

Context

The importation of a geometry starting from the mesh file is an operation which enables the construction of geometry by using the mesh information of the initial file.

This data importation offers to Flux projects the possibility to consider complex geometries , having complex surfaces ( poly-surfaces ) in a Flux project under the form of "broken surfaces".

These surfaces cannot be directly built with the Flux tools proposed.
