Import mesh

Import

To import mesh from NASTRAN / PATRAN / UNV (IDEAS) / MED file:

Step Action

Activate the command via the menu Project and point on Import > Import Mesh / and click on Import Mesh from XXX file
→ A new dialog box Import Mesh … is opened.

Select a file:

  • click on button

    → A new dialog box Open is opened.

  • seek the file and click on it
  • click on Open
→ The complete path of the file is registered in the text zone XXX file to import of the dialog box Import Mesh … .

Choose the options:

  • general options: coordinate system, length unit, precision
  • specific options: mesh or no mesh import

Confirm:

  • click on OK
→ A geometrical figure appears.
