Import geometry

Import

To import geometry from XXX file:

Step Action

Activate the command via the menu Import > Import geometry and click on Import geometry from XXX file
→ A dialog box Import geometry … is opened.

Select a file:

  • click on button

    → dialog box Open is opened.

  • seek the file and click on it
  • click on Open
→ The complete path of the file is registered in the text zone XXX file to import of the dialog box Import geometry … .

Choose the options for data conversion:

  • general options: coordinate system, length unit, precision
  • specific options

Confirm:

  • click on OK
→ A geometrical figure appears.
