SMT Direction Mark
SMT direction marks placement checking item on special layer.
The SMT Board Misarrangement dialog contains the following
sections:
- SMT Direction Mark Definition: Choose a layer where the SMT mark is
located.
- Layer Selection: Select the layer from layer list.
- Component Group
- SMT Direction Mark: Select the SMT direction mark from the component list.
- Checking
- Placement Layer : Check the SMT direction mark placed layer.
- Same on Specified Component : Check the same layer as the
specified component, if the SMT Direction Mark does not
exist in the same layer, it is fail.
- Specifying Component : Select specific component.
- Exceptional Component : Exclude specific component.
- Top : If the SMT Direction Mark does not exist in the Top layer, it is fail.
- Bottom : If the SMT Direction Mark does not exist in the Bottom layer, it is fail.
- All : If the SMT Direction Mark does not exist in the Top and Bottom layer, it is fail.
- Same on Specified Component : Check the same layer as the
specified component, if the SMT Direction Mark does not
exist in the same layer, it is fail.

- Relative Direction
- Horizontally Long Board : Define SMT direction Mark on a horizontally long PCB design.
- Vertically Long Board : Define SMT direction Mark on a vertically long PCB design.
- Square Board : Define SMT direction Mark on square PCB design.
- Absolute Direction : Select SMT direction Mark without considering relativity.
- Insertion Mark : Check if the Insertion Mark (Pusher Mark) exists on the opposite side of the SMT Direction Mark.
- Mirrored Direction on the Bottom Layer : When selecting the check box, the SMT direction Mark of the bottom layer becomes mirrored with the top layer.

- Placement Layer : Check the SMT direction mark placed layer.
