Data Existence
Verify the certain layers existence and data existence on the layer.
The Data Existence dialog contains the following
sections:
- Layer & Data Existence Checking: Check data existence out of the board
outline.
- Check Objects are placed on Specifying Layer: Specify the layer that target components are placed on from the artwork layer list of active design.
- Layer Existence: Check if layers exist for layers defined in the above section.
- Checking for Objects out of Boundary: Check data existence out of given
layers boundary.
- Boundary Layer: Specify the layer from the artwork layer list.
- Layers Definition for Target Objects are placed: Select layer from the artwork layer lists for objects out of layers defined in the above section.
- Exclude Checking for Components: Specify the void-checking component group from the predefined component group.
- Exclude Checking for Specified Character String: Define the void-checking text strings using the Following Text Filter tool.

Checking for Data Existence in Component: Check if a specified layer exists in the footprint of the specified component.
- Item: Specify the item name.
- Comp Group: Specify the Component Group.
- Layer: Select the layer from list.
- Condition: Select the layer condition.
- All Layer: If the specified layers exist in the specified component footprint, it is pass.
- Any Layer:If the only one of the specified layers exists in the specified component footprint, it is pass.
