Data Existence

Verify the certain layers existence and data existence on the layer.

The Data Existence dialog contains the following sections:
  • Layer & Data Existence Checking: Check data existence out of the board outline.
    • Check Objects are placed on Specifying Layer: Specify the layer that target components are placed on from the artwork layer list of active design.
    • Layer Existence: Check if layers exist for layers defined in the above section.
  • Checking for Objects out of Boundary: Check data existence out of given layers boundary.
    • Boundary Layer: Specify the layer from the artwork layer list.
    • Layers Definition for Target Objects are placed: Select layer from the artwork layer lists for objects out of layers defined in the above section.
    • Exclude Checking for Components: Specify the void-checking component group from the predefined component group.
    • Exclude Checking for Specified Character String: Define the void-checking text strings using the Following Text Filter tool.
  • Checking for Data Existence in Component: Check if a specified layer exists in the footprint of the specified component.

    • Item: Specify the item name.
    • Comp Group: Specify the Component Group.
    • Layer: Select the layer from list.
    • Condition: Select the layer condition.
      • All Layer: If the specified layers exist in the specified component footprint, it is pass.
      • Any Layer:If the only one of the specified layers exists in the specified component footprint, it is pass.
