Create Reports
Create lightweight, self-contained HTML reports for Twin Activate models.
- Dynamic HTML pages let you navigate throughout the hierarchy of a model as well as inspect blocks, parameters and simulation results.
- Model navigation in a report is exactly the same as it is in the software user interface.
- During the reporting process, the Model Report Generator launches a simulation for capturing the most current model data and simulation results.
Creating Model Reports
Create a report to capture model information and simulation results in an .html file.

From the Demo Browser, select .
The Watertank model loads.

From the menu bar, select
.The Model Report dialog appears.
- In the field for Report directory, enter the path where you want to publish your report.

From the list of options, select the information you want to include in your
report. For Footer text, enter a description for your report.

Click OK.
A simulation runs and a report generates as specified. The top page of the report for the Watertank model looks something like this:The completed report includes a publishing date, the name of the model, an expandable tree view of the model hierarchy, expandable sections of information for Model Initialization, Simulation Parameters and Simulation Results.Note: Reports for smaller models generate very quickly while larger models require more time.
Inspecting Blocks
Double-click a block in a diagram and the block dialog is displayed.
In the root diagram, Watertank, double-click the block,
Constant.

Navigating Inside Diagrams
You can navigate through model diagrams in an .html report is the same way that you would in the software interface.
Opening and Saving Links to Reports
The Link context menu includes various options to to open, copy, and save links to the HTML pages of the report.
In the upper-right corner of the model report, right-click .
The Link context menu appears.
Printing Reports
Print hard copy from the HTML pages of a model report.
From the upper-right corner of the model report, click .
