Fill Planar Loops

The Fill Planar Loops tool identifies edge loops that are planar in the selected body/face groups and fill them. This is useful to close external openings in a solid body so that the exterior of the solid can be extracted. The exterior part of a solid is required for acoustic modelling.
This is also supported for CAD Parasolid models imported with ‘Save geometry in database’ option. But face cannot be selected as input.
Local Re-Mesh
If you activate Local Re-Mesh check box, you can specify the mesh size to mesh the newly created/filled faces.
Note: For mesh, a face group by name Fill_Planar_Edge_Loop will be created in
the group tree view and it will contain all the newly created faces.
For CAD, a new body will be created with all the planar faces.
