Show Instances
Introduction
This tool identifies the instance bodies among the input bodies. For mesh body input, the identical bodies get identified as instances. The comparison for identical involves physical properties such as surface area, volume, and principal moment of inertia.
- Find instances of
Turn on this toggle to find the instances of the given reference bodies from the input bodies.
- Find identical patterns
Turn on this toggle to consider these reference bodies as a pattern and identify the identical patterns that resemble the reference input.

In the case of CAD body input, turn on this toggle to find the identical bodies as instances.
- Group identified instances as
By default, a group gets created for each instance group.
Use this toggle to create a sub-model or bin for identified instances.
