Modify Elements
Description
This is used to change the element order or to convert the element types. The input for this tool can be bodies or faces. Solid element type conversion can be done only on bodies.
Lower to higher
- Attached RBE elements to the input body will get converted based on the toggle 'Update associated RBE nodes'.
- In the case of RBE body input, it will get converted if it is attached to any higher order shell/solid element.
- Mid nodes will be created on the straight edge.
Higher to lower
- Attached RBE elements to the input body will get converted automatically.
- In the case of RBE body input, it will get converted if it is attached to any higher order shell/solid element.
