      - Run Analysis on a Part
        Use the Run Part Analysis tool to configure various settings for the part to be analyzed.
      - Show Motion Analysis Results
        Use the Show Motion Analysis Results tool to view the results of a motion part analysis in the Analysis Explorer. View and animate results, add callouts, and compare results from different runs.
    - Report
      Generate PPT or PDF reports from analysis results. The Report tools are available after you have run an analysis.
    - Optimize Part
      Use the Optimize Part tool to extract loads from a motion analysis for use in structural optimization of a design space.
    - Tracers
      Use the Tracers tools to visualize the path of a trace part or trace point during a motion run.
    - Proximity
      Monitor the distance between two parts during the simulation. The endpoints of the proximity measurement are color coded. Blue means parts have a finite distance, yellow means parts are touching, and red means parts are interfering.
    - Topology Explorer
      Graphically view and edit model connections. This allows for faster and easier debugging, editing, and understanding of model connections.
    - Interference Detection
      Detect interferences and conditions of tangency between parts, then view detailed results on where they occur in a motion analysis.
- Motion Analyst
  The Analyst profile functions as a feature-rich pre-processor, originally inspired by the needs of the automotive industry. Utilizing a hard-point design approach, it provides access to the full suite of MotionSolve features and capabilities. The Analyst profile offers unparalleled flexibility in system modeling and can be highly tailored to specific industry requirements. However, this versatility comes with increased complexity, requiring a higher level of MBD expertise and a specialized mindset for effective use.

Design Explorer
Evaluate designs by using geometric variables and applying a design-of-experiments (DOE) or optimization method. We recommend fully constraining your sketch when sketch variables are used in the design exploration.

Prepare and run an additive manufacturing simulation, and export a file for 3D printing.

Analyze Part

Use the Analyze Part tool to extract loads from a motion analysis for use in structural (FE) analysis of a part.

Location: Motion ribbon, Run tools, Analyze Part icon

This lets you select a part and then configure it in preparation for a FE analysis. Use the satellite icons to view the run status and run history.

Note: Run Part Analysis is not supported in SimSolid (motion loads will use OptiStruct).

Analyze Part can be run without first running a motion analysis.

When you run Analyze Part, a flexible body is implicitly created using the first 10 non-rigid body modes. The motion analysis is then performed.
