Use the cfast converter tool to convert CFAST elements into CBAR/RBE3 (spiders). For thermoelastic analysis, the CFAST has no thermal expansion coefficient. CBAR is thermoelastic compatible.

Convert CFAST Elements

Use the cfast converter tool to convert CFAST elements into CBAR/RBE3 (spiders). For thermoelastic analysis, the CFAST has no thermal expansion coefficient. CBAR is thermoelastic compatible.

From the menu bar, click Aerospace > Connections > cfast converter.
Select elements or properties.
Select the materials.
Select the Orientation.
Select the Inertia.
Make the rest of your selections.
Click OK.
