Static Event

Use the Static Event tool to define a static (linear static) loadcase to solve and understand squeak and rattle occurrences.

1. From the SnRD ribbon, Setup group, click the triangle next to the Dynamic Event tool group and select Static Event.
   The Static Event tool is activated and opens.

2. Optional: From the guide bar, click to define loadcase options.
3. In the modeling window, select one or more nodes where the load should be applied.
4. In the microdialog, select the required load type.
5. Click Load Direction(s).
6. Enter the load amplitude.
7. From the guide bar, complete one of the following options:
   • Click to create the static event and remain in the tool.
   • Click to create the static event and exit the tool.
   • Click to exit the tool without creating the static event.
