Deletion of the mesh

Mesh deletion

It is possible to switch from the geometry context to the mesh context. To modify a meshed geometry, it's necessary to first remove the mesh.

The mesh deletion:

  • removes mesh elements (nodes, line, face and volume elements)
  • retains meshing tools (mesh point, mesh line, mesh generator)

Delete mesh

To delete the mesh:

Activate the command:

  • in the Mesh menu, click on Delete mesh

    or in the Mesh toolbar, click on the icon

→ A warning message box is open.

Confirm the deletion:

  • click on Yes
→ The mesh elements are removed.
