Modify a solved scenario

Introduction

It is possible (under certain conditions) to modify a solving scenario that has been solved and to resume the solving process.

Conditions for modification

The conditions to modify a scenario are presented below.

For each parameter defining the control of the solving process it is possible:

  • to modify or delete the last interval

(except for the 1st interval that defines the scenario)

  • to add one interval to the interval list

It is not possible to add a parameter to the list of parameters defining the control of the solving process.

Modify a scenario

To modify a solved scenario, follow the steps below:

Step Action
1 Edit the scenario to be modified
2 Choose the parameter whose control is to be modified
3

In the Parameter control zone :

to … then …
delete the last interval
  • in the Intervals table zone

    click on Clear last interval

modify the last interval
  • in the Intervals table zone

    go to the last interval

  • in the Interval definition zone

redefine the higher limit and the variation method

  • in the middle zone

    click on >>

add an interval go to step 5
4 Click on Yes in the confirmation box
5
to … then …
add an interval
  • in the Interval definition zone

define a new higher limit and a variation method

  • click on >>
6 Click on OK to close the box
There is a possible deletion of results associated with the modified or deleted interval

Resume the solving process

To resume the solving process of a modified scenario, follow the next steps:

Step Action
1

In the Solving menu

  • point on Continue the solving process

and click on Continue the solving process of a scenario …

2

In the box for the selection of scenarios

  • choose a scenario
Sequential solving of all the steps added to the scenario
