R, L, C components
The passive components: resistor (R), inductance (L) and capacitor (C) can be created:
- within the electric circuit editor context (graphically visualized components)
- by circuit export (graphically visualized components depending on the format)
- directly in Flux (component graphically non visualized)
Graphic representation
In the circuit editor, the components are represented by the following graphic symbols:

Orientation
The orientation of these components does not affect the finite elements method computation.
Electrical model
There is a model for the current-voltage characteristic proposed for each passive components: resistor, inductor, capacitor.
