The creation via import of an electric circuit in the Flux can be done starting from various formats:

  • *.CCS (Electriflux format: electric circuit description with graphic information - Electriflux is the legacy circuit descriptor before Flux 10.4 version)
  • *.XCIR (XmlCIR format: electric circuit description with graphic information)**
  • *.TXT (Netlist: electric circuit description without graphic information)

*.CIF (Cirflu format: electric circuit description without graphic information)

**Import to the format XmlCIR having the advantage of option is treated separately from other formats

It is considered that the electric circuit has been described and recorded beforehand in one of the importable formats:

Import an electric circuit to the Flux project.

In the Physical menu, point on Circuit and click on:

  • Import the circuit of a file ccs
  • Import the circuit of a file Txt
  • Import the circuit of a file Cif

The import of the file is done

(example: import Circuit From CCS executed)

The list of the incompletely characterized components is displayed

Characterize the incompletely characterized components:

  • edit the component
  • modify the desired characteristics in the dialogue box

Possibility of modification

It is equally possible to open the imported file in the electric circuit editor context to complete or modify the circuit.
